Luke carefully distinguishes believers as “disciples.” Since he calls Ananias and Sapphira only “a man” and his wife, they were unbelievers judged for lying to the Holy Spirit—not Christians struck dead by God.

Did God discipline Christians in Revelation 2-3? No—the letters to the seven churches warned unbelieving Jewish assemblies to repent before AD 70 judgment (Revelation 3:14-22).

Hebrews 12 does not support the idea that God will send painful consequences into believers’ lives to train them, but rather that he expects us to persevere even in the midst of persecution.

Contrary to the popular view that God disciplines but does not punish, Scripture makes no distinction and says Christ took both in our place.

True gospel understanding—permanent forgiveness received by faith alone—transforms the heart and produces godly fruit. Fear-based teachings that forgiveness can be lost hinder the very growth God intends.

Understanding God’s forgiveness removes the need for discipline to change our hearts. Gratitude, trust in His provision, and the Holy Spirit’s inner work produce true heart transformation and joyful obedience.

Eternal security rests on God’s power to keep us, not our performance. NT warnings distinguish true faith from temporary profession.

New Testament warning passages do not teach that true believers can lose salvation. Properly understood, they address false teachers, unbelievers, or rejecting the gospel of grace.

James does not threaten true believers with destruction. Written to a mixed Jewish audience, its warnings expose empty faith and uphold eternal security.

Hebrews 6 & 10 warn unbelieving Jews rejecting Christ, not true believers. Context shows security for those resting in His finished work.

NT warnings of falling away target unbelievers in mixed gatherings, not Spirit-sealed believers whom God preserves. True faith endures.

God speaks to all believers via the Holy Spirit; hearing & discerning are faith miracles, not techniques. Scripture confirms; trust God over human wisdom.

Scripture teaches that God wants to speak to us, is able to speak to us, and can convince us that He has spoken. By placing our faith in these biblical truths, we can experience this reality in our own lives.

God wants to answer our prayers. We often struggle with unnecessary hardships because we hestitate to ask God for his help. The Bible shows us how to overcome them.
