A very natural question I get when I share this with people is, “If Jesus already returned, why am I still here? Do we have any purpose being here?”
While some of the things I share in this series may come as a disappointment to you, the result of Jesus’s return actually produces some wonderful new realities for us and gives us purpose.
Why does the earth exist?
But before I share my thoughts, one relevant question to this subject is why does the earth exist at all? I only have conjecture for that question as that answer seems to elude all the greatest philosophers. However, that same question can be asked regardless of which view we hold of the end times. If Christ is yet to return in our future, why does he wait? Why do we continue to be born and die on this earth? I suppose if you’re coming from a futurist mindset, the answer you would give is so that more people can be saved. Perhaps Jesus is waiting for the majority of the world to be Christian before he returns.
If this is what we believe about earth, then earth exists to be an opportunity for us to come to faith in Jesus. Most people don’t believe childbirth exists in Heaven, so perhaps it’s a place for new people to be born and have the opportunity to come to faith?
This answer doesn’t explain what happens for babies who are aborted, people who die at a very young age, or what happens to people who never hear the gospel but these issues present complications for every view of the end times, not solely a past-return of Christ.
Is this ship sinking?
If we expect Jesus to return in our generation today, our top priority and purpose becomes spreading the gospel as fast as possible so as many as possible will be saved. Beyond that we don’t have much purpose. Why would we try to build libraries, schools, hospitals, research centers, etc… when our efforts will be futile? As one famous saying goes, “Why polish the brass on a sinking ship?” If this world is headed for its ultimate destruction and a great tribulation, our main concern is saving as many as possible and keeping ourselves safe. Notice how Harold Eberle in his book “Victorious Eschatology” describes the expectations of the future for many people believing Jesus will return in our generation.
The futurists teach that in the near future there will be great earthquakes, famines, and wars. Then an antichrist will take over the world by establishing one world government, one economic system, and a false religion. This antichrist will then deceive the mass of humanity into following him and cut off the heads of Christians who will not receive his mark. Then God will release His wrath upon the world, burning up one-third of the earth and inflicting great pain upon humanity during a seven-year tribulation. Even more discouraging is the futurist’s belief that the Church will experience a great falling away before the tribulation, with masses of people abandoning the true Church. Indeed, God will have the victory in the end, but the road between now and then is devastating according to the futurist view.

The futurist view is deeply intertwined with the belief that this world is getting worse and worse, while at the same time, balancing on the brink of destruction. Jack Van Impe, one of the most popular futurist teachers, warns, “All hell will break loose on planet earth—a furious time of pain, mayhem, and agony for millions,” and “the signs of global economic chaos are on the horizon.”12 Hal Lindsey starts off his tremendously popular book, The Late Great Planet Earth, by telling the reader about the “World in a Mess.”13 John Hagee, one of the strongest radio and television personalities promoting the futurist view, writes that the world is “standing on the brink of nuclear Armageddon” and “teetering on the brink of World War III.”14

One can imagine how such a perspective can hinder our ministry efforts. Why does the world want to accept a gospel from Christians who are not engaged in this world, who are hiding in fear of an end that never seems to materialize although hundreds of predictions about when the end will come are made? I have met individuals that move from the city out to the wilderness, reluctantly decide not to have children, don’t go to college, or don’t make long term investments out of fear that the end times will soon be coming upon them.
We have more purpose
If this world is never going to end, we are not here only to save the lost, we are also here to improve the state of the world, make it a little more like Heaven. We can have a more effective ministry because we are no longer Christians hiding in the closet and asking the unbelieving to hide with us, we are the Christians creating hospitals, courts, libraries, schools, research centers, etc… working to improve the quality of life for everyone and our children. If this world is going to be here forever, it’s worth making it better for ourselves and our children, and we can have more purpose here than merely saving the lost, and even our ministry efforts will be more effective as a result as our reputation improves.
The Kingdom arrives with Christ’s return
One may assume that if all prophecies are fulfilled in the first-century, there is nothing left for us. However, Christ’s return also marks the arrival of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Mark 8:38-9:1 “For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.”
Luke 21:31-32 So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place.
Christ’s return corresponds with the arrival of the Kingdom of Heaven.
This Kingdom will perpetually grow
This Kingdom is promised to remain forever and perpetually grow more dominant in this world throughout eternity and bring with it peace, justice, joy, and righteousness.
Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.
Daniel 2:32-35 The head of this image was of fine gold (Babylon), its chest and arms of silver (Persia), its middle and thighs of bronze (Greek), 33 its legs of iron (Roman Empire), its feet partly of iron and partly of clay (Roman Empire split into 10 providences). 34 As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces (God’s kingdom). 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
Daniel 2:44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever
Hebrews 12:28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,
Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”
Isaiah 11:1-9 There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear, but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins.
Matthew 13:31-33 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. 32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.” 33 He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Revelation 5:10 And you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”
Ezekiel 47:1-12 ESV Then he brought me back to the door of the temple, and behold, water was issuing from below the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was flowing down from below the south end of the threshold of the temple, south of the altar. 2 Then he brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around on the outside to the outer gate that faces toward the east; and behold, the water was trickling out on the south side.
3 Going on eastward with a measuring line in his hand, the man measured a thousand cubits,[a] and then led me through the water, and it was ankle-deep. 4 Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was knee-deep. Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was waist-deep. 5 Again he measured a thousand, and it was a river that I could not pass through, for the water had risen. It was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be passed through. 6 And he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?”
Then he led me back to the bank of the river. 7 As I went back, I saw on the bank of the river very many trees on the one side and on the other. 8 And he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, and enters the sea;[b] when the water flows into the sea, the water will become fresh.[c] 9 And wherever the river goes,[d] every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea[e] may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes. 10 Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.[f] 11 But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt. 12 And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”
Yeast spreading through dough? A mustard seed growing into the largest of garden plants? The stone growing into a mountain and filling the earth? Of the increase of his kingdom there will be no end? The Kingdom of Heaven is promised to be planted like a seed at Christ’s arrival and continue to grow until it fills the whole earth.
The Kingdom is invisible but has great influence on the world
Jesus tells us this Kingdom is like the wind, although you cannot see it and you cannot point to a specific person, country, or army and say that’s the Kingdom, it nevertheless has great influence on the world.
Luke 17:20-21 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”
John 3:3-8 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
The Kingdom represents God’s will being done in the earth like it is in Heaven.
Who is in the Kingdom of Heaven?
The Bible tells us who will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.’
Luke 12:32 “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Isaiah 32:1 Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice.
Matthew 25:34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 5:9 because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
As Christians, we are members of this Kingdom.
The Kingdom brings great blessings upon its inhabitants
God promises great blessings on his people for eternity. While some of us may face difficulties and persecution in this life we can ask for these promises in our own life and even if we don’t experience all of these in our earthly life, we surely will in Heaven. God promises great wealth upon his people.
Isaiah 61:6 but you shall be called the priests of the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory you shall boast.
Revelation 5:10 And you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”
We are promised honor, vindication by God, deliverance from our enemies, and great peace. If anyone attacks us it will not be from God and they will surrender.
Isaiah 62:2 The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give.
Isaiah 66:12 For this is what the Lord says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream;”
Isaiah 54:13-17 All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. 14 In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. 15 If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. 16 Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy; 17 no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”
No more judgement, anger, or wrath from God towards us.
Isaiah 54:9 “This is like the days of Noah to me: as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, and will not rebuke you.
Isaiah 65:22 They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
We are promised God’s glory will spread to every nation to the ends of the earth and its kings will bring their wealth and glory to us.
Isaiah 60:5 Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.
Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
The nations that do not serve us will perish.
Isaiah 60:12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.
Daniel 2:44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever
The Lord will take delight in us and call us married (Isaiah 62). Jews and Gentiles will live in peace and be united through faith (Romans 15, Isaiah 11,65:25).
Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall graze together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain,” says the Lord.
Romans 15 and Isaiah 11 make it clear this speaks of Jews and Gentiles living in peace with each other. God himself tells us to not give him any rest until he makes us the praise of the earth.
Isaiah 62:7 and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.
We are the new Jerusalem and so these promises apply to us. Notice there is still preaching that continues in the new age.
Daniel 12:2-3 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
The end isn’t the end
As you can see, although Biblical prophecy was fulfilled in the first century, some of its prophecies are promised to last and increase forever. Therefore, we have much to look forward to today.
We get to spread the gospel and God’s Kingdom on this earth and not only that, but our work here matters because we are contributing to a better future for ourselves and our children. And as we get more involved in fixing the issues of this world, our reputation increases and so does the effectiveness of our ministry efforts. Whatever work you do, whether as a doctor, lawyer, judge, fireman, accountant, plumber, designer, engineer, researcher, scientist, etc… our work has significance in this world and is useful to God’s Kingdom when we do our work in a Kingdom-oriented way. The Kingdom-oriented way is not necessarily putting a Christian cross on our vehicle bumper, but is about conducting our jobs or businesses in a way that increases peace, joy, righteousness, justice, prosperity, wellbeing, and love on this earth.
And while God is spreading his Kingdom and executing his will upon the earth, we get to partner with him under the assistance of his many blessings.
Jesus’s return brings many other blessings
While the growing Kingdom gives us more hope and purpose here, his arrival brings about many other wonderful blessings for us.
- Satan and demons are no more
- We don’t need to fear the end times
- We have all the promises the disciples we waiting for
- Christians now go to Heaven not Hades
- The world is getting better
- God’s law is written on our hearts
- The Old Covenant has fully ended
- We can finally understand our Bible
- We can validate our faith to others
- The scriptures can be unified
Satan and demons are no more
Since the Millennium has ended, Satan and his demons were thrown into the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41, Jude 6-7, Revelation 20:10). This means we no longer need to fear demonic possession, demonic activity, battling spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, being paranoid about magic charms, or having ministries that focus on Satan’s influence.
We don’t need to fear the end times
Since all of Revelation was fulfilled, we don’t need to fear the antichrist, receiving the mark of the beast or the 666, a great global persecution of Christians, or the burning up of the world. Instead we live in a world owned by God’s kingdom and his peace and justice will forever be growing here (Isaiah 9:6-7).
We have the promises the disciples were waiting for
The disciples were waiting for the salvation of their souls (1 Peter 1:9), righteousness (Galatians 5:5), their adoption as sons and the redemption of their bodies (Romans 8:23), and many other promises. Today, living after these things have arrived, we no longer need to wait. We have access to all these blessings now. We have continual access to God’s presence now (Revelation 21:3).
Christians now go to Heaven not Hades
With the defeat of Sheol/Hades (Revelation 20:14), Christians now go to Heaven when they die and enjoy eternal bliss with God, resting from their works, with their good deeds following them (Revelation 14:13). Christians no longer have to wait in the murky underworld of Sheol for God to resurrect them.
The world is getting better through the Kingdom of Heaven
Because of God’s growing kingdom here, our world is promised to continually grow in peace and justice. This growth is like the stock market, in the long run it always goes up, but sometimes it dips and can scare us. If you look at average statistics around the world it’s clear the world is in a much better place than it was 50 years ago, 200 years ago, and 2,000 years ago.
Dr. Steven Pinker, Pulitzer prize-winning author and Harvard psychology professor noted that “Today we may be living in the most peaceful era in our species’ existence.”[1] Prior to the Second World War, nations were continually in bloody conflict. Many Western European nations initiated war every two to three years. However, since the peak of the Cold War in the 1980s, civil wars, genocides, and terrorist attacks—have significantly diminished throughout the world.

“England, Canada, and most other industrialized countries have also seen their homicide rates fall in the past decade. Among the 88 countries with reliable data, 67 have seen a decline in the past 15 years…Rates of rape or sexual assault and of violence against intimate partners have been sinking for decades, and are now a quarter or less of their peaks in the past.”[3]

Archeologists and anthropologists have surmised that over 15% of society died violently in previous centuries. More recently this number has dropped down to 3%. In the Twenty-First Century less than 1% have died a violent or war-related death.[4]

Summarizing his findings, Pinker writes that,
“The world is not falling apart. The kinds of violence to which most people are vulnerable—homicide, rape, battering, child abuse—have been in steady decline in most of the world. Autocracy is giving way to democracy. Wars between states—by far the most destructive of all conflicts—are all but obsolete. The increase in the number and deadliness of civil wars since 2010 is circumscribed, puny in comparison with the decline that preceded it, and unlikely to escalate.”[6]

The article goes on to show how poverty is being eradicated across the whole world, health and life expectancies are increasing everywhere and Christianity is growing swiftly in almost every country. See it for yourself:

Although this doesn’t guarantee there won’t be any more wars, crime, or other issues for us to combat, it does show that God is making significant progress. Slavery was abolished legally worldwide over 150 years ago, that alone is a great victory. And Christianity has grown from 12 disciples to 2.2 billion Christians worldwide showing the great expansion of God’s Kingdom.
God’s law is written on our hearts
Although this was true before the end times, it’s worth emphasizing here. In 70AD the Old Covenant law fully ended, and Christians are no longer required to keep the law even for ministry purposes. Instead we live fully in the New Covenant, with God’s will written on our hearts.
Jeremiah 31:31-34 ESV “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. 33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
Philippians 2:13 ISV For it is God who is producing in you both the desire and the ability to do what pleases him.
Romans 2:14-15 ESV For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them
Ezekiel 36:27 ESV And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
We don’t need to fear not having an external system of rules in place to guide our behavior. If we have the Spirit of God in us, he produces the desire and strength to live godly lives from the inside out. And when we fail, we have his promise of unlimited grace to pick us back up and forgive us. And this grace and demonstration of God’s love is the very thing that transforms us to love God and others more.
Jeremiah 31:34 ESV For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Luke 7:47 ESV Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.”
Titus 2:11-12 NIV For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age
Romans 5:20-21 ESV Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We can always count on God’s forgiveness in our lives, and we can count on the work of the Spirit to change our hearts.
The Old Covenant has fully ended
Christ promised that the law would not pass until Heaven and earth passed away and everything was fulfilled (Matthew 5:17-20). Everything was fulfilled in that generation (Luke 21:22) and Heaven and earth metaphorically passed away (Luke 21:31-33, Revelation 21:1). At this time, the Old Covenant temple was burned down, not one stone was left on another and the ancestral records of the Levites were burned, making it impossible to obey the Mosaic law. Even though the disciples had died to the law in the body of Christ and were not obligated to keep it, they continued to practice the law for the sake of helping unbelieving Jews come to the gospel by demonstrating exemplary law-keeping behavior.
Now that the law has passed, it is no longer necessary to keep the Mosaic law, even to win the lost. Christians can fully embrace their New Covenant freedom and live lives led by the Spirit and not by our human effort.
We can finally understand our Bible
When you read the Bible as a futurist, it is very difficult to understand and leads to cognitive dissonance, a condition where your mind holds multiple conflicting beliefs. We always have to battle the obvious as we read the scripture and deny our intellect quite a bit. This leads to an underlying lack of confidence in our faith and the word of God, even if we don’t admit this to ourselves. With the Preterist viewpoint, our scripture can be unified, finally make sense, relieve that cognitive dissonance, and we can understand passages that once baffled us and have greater confidence in the authority of our scriptures and our faith.
We can validate our faith to others
Not only that, but now that the Bible can be understood in a more straightforward way, we can answer the skeptics who insist the Bible must be false because Jesus didn’t keep his promises or told false prophecies. We have historical proof that Jesus came and did all he said he was going to do. This helps to prove he is our validated Messiah.
The scriptures can be unified
When you see the truth of a past fulfillment of Revelation, you will see the old and new testaments unified in their message. Passages that we had to separate before to make sense of can be brought together in one cohesive narrative. We realize that the disciples learned their theology of the new testament from the old and we can do the same today to gain better insight into the things they were teaching.
The end of the End
A past fulfillment gives so much more peace than a future one. It inspires confidence in our faith, gives us purpose in our lives here, gives us hope for its future, permits us to understand the scriptures without gymnastics, gives us an answer for skeptics, and removes fear of Satan and the end times.
I hope this series has provided those benefits for you as it did me. As always, I am continually learning about these subjects and there is much more to study and I may change my mind on certain topics as I grow. So I hope you don’t take these articles as dogmatic truth, but hopefully as a compelling argument for the trustworthiness of Christ and as a platform to continue to study and learn from.
